ALPINESTARS BY DENISE FOCIL I simply can’t even believe that summer is almost over… Bad news : we can expect long days of rain and gray sky, good news : it means that it’s fashion week season. We had this week-end a little change of plans, we weren’t planning on flying to NYFW this year but finally it seems like we are going to make it. I am more than excited to see the shows and simply to hang out in NY, one of the most incredible place I have ever been to (I know… It’s so classic to say that but it’s just the way it is). The city is so lively compared to Switzerland. I love the energy and this burning atmosphere that I can feel each time I’m at the big apple. And of course the food is absolutely incredible. Our must-go-to stop is obviously Nobu, can’t wait to have lunch there. I feel like I am starving while I’m writing this though I actually already ate my dinner… Yep, no diet for me this season. I’ll do sport anyway (shopping, running from one show to another + long walks in New York = best workout ever, meaning : burgers authorized).
So this must be one of the last articles where I am walking around bare legs, you can’t even imagine how cold it got here near Geneva. It really does feel like early winter, especially during the evening. However I heard that the weather in New York is fabulous, so maybe I’m going to be able to show off some skin for a little longer. I mean hopefully because I feel like I spend the whole year wrapped like a sushi in coats and jackets. I particulary enjoy this outfit because it does remind me of summer holidays by the sea, the print of this Lizzy Silk dress I got from Alpinestars is so gorgeous and it felt like the perfect match to this Hermès blue bag. Alpinestars is a brand designed by Denise Focil, I absolutely love the edgy/chic designs. I think their collection is perfect for any occasion, obviously this dress was my big crush and I couldn’t take my eyes off it! The material is great as well, so comfortable, silky and soft… I’ve been in a blue mood lately, can’t even imagine that I wasn’t at the beach not even one single time this summer. That’s a big big shame. I’ll just stop complaining and get back to the dress, so I wanted to add some silver details to the look, felt like it was obvious since the bag has it’s silver embelishment. Therefore I have chosen a gorgeous Hermès Collier de Chien bracelet and my beloved JFR necklace.
P.S : The winner of the Simone Pérèle lingerie set giveaway will be soon announced!
