HERVE LEGER SS13 The ambiance at fashion week is like nowhere else, well the ambiance in New York is like nowhere else at all in general. People are rushing from one place to another, so opened and friendly. The streets have a crazy energy which is definitely overwhelming. It’s quite unusual to me actually. Loved admiring all the beautiful people around, all the models and fashion editors in the street wearing bright colors and fancy shoes, not exactly something you can see on a daily basis in Switzerland. Well, it feels good to have a little change of atmosphere. Especially this kind of one! On our second day in New York we were attending the Hervé Léger fashion show which was definitely the highlight of the day. The collection was so sexy, elegant and modern at the same time. I was hypnotized by the incredible structures and colors which seemed to me perfect for next summer. Beware the strap swimwear, going to leave highly fashionable/eccentric shade on the body. At least you’ll be able to say that it’s by Hervé Léger.
Here’s a couple of pictures James took while I was posing for the streetstyle photographers, never have I seen so many of them. It was amazing, they seemed all really motivated and I must believe they had the occasion to snap some gorgeous pictures since there were so many beautiful people around the Lincoln Center. Once the show was finished it was the occasion to chat with some of my blogger pals that I haven’t seen for a while, fashion week is the perfect moment to catch up : everybody is in the same place at the same time. For the occasion I decided to wear an all white outfit, and yes most of it is from Zara and I am not even ashamed to say it. Why should I be? They do amazing clothing. I think the only non-Zara piece from this outfit are my shoes which are from Vicini. Love them so much, they seemed like a perfect match with my whole outfit. Also fact : don’t ask me how I did my hair… We were running late to the show and I just took a scratchy and twisted my hair around into a low bun. Yep, sometimes a lack of time and a little stress can do great things!
