LIGUE GENEVOISE CONTRE LE CANCER Each year is held in the heart of Geneva a beautiful Gala organised by Ralph Lauren in order to raise funds supporting a local organisation fighting against cancer. This year's Gala took part at the gorgeous hotel Président Wilson, and I have had the huge privilege to be chosen as presentor of the auctions during this evening. It was a big honour, for James and myself, to attend the Pink Pony event in order to bring our support to the cause such as get the chance to work with the incredible Ralph Lauren team. I would like to take advantage of this article to thank all the amazing woman who invested so much time to organise the Gala, their dedication is admirable and could be an example for all of us to look up too. For the occasion I've had the chance to choose a Ralph Lauren couture dress which seemed absolutely perfect for the event, means that there were enough sparkles on it. And the best of all, because all girls need a stunning detail to pop their outfit, I wore the Piaget Rose diamond and white gold necklace paired to a matching ring. My outfit was complete and for a moment I felt like a real lady gala. No wonder why some blondie once said : diamond's are a girl's best friends. I've had the biggest pleasure wearing this gorgeous jewerly, a big thanks to maison Piaget for those stunning pieces. 

After a pleasant cocktail where James and I had the chance to meet the other guest, we comfortably sat at our table in the bal room of the hotel Président Wilson, enjoyed some delicious dishes and spend a lovely night. Unfortunately for me, and hopefully you won't notice it in the pictures, I have spent the whole day at home, sick in bed, before attending the event. I have indeed slept until 3pm, must have caught a flu : but being there, surrounded by such a great energy made me feel instantly better and I was more than happy to be sitting, and enjoying the meal than stuck in my bed with tissues all over the floor. On the second day, my illness was gone. Once the dinner finished, the auctions started, as the presentor of the evening I introduced the guests to the different lots. Among them an exclusive watch by Chopard and front row tickets for the Ralph Lauren fashion show at next season's fashion week. Prizes to die for, and it seems like it wasn't only my opinion. The total of the auctions sums up to 108'000 swiss francs. An amazing score which will go to the association. Though James and I couldn't really give a couple of thousands like some others did, we made sure to be there to bring our smiles, motivation and support as much as we could. It is always great to see when fashion also fights for such important causes. Thumbs up and enjoy the picutres!
