Yesterday I had the honor to attend the Hugo Boss show in New York during fashion week. It was definitely an event that I was highly expecting and looking forward to as I’ve worked already several times with the brand and always with such a huge pleasure. I absolutely love the direction that they are taking and this new show was definitely a new symbolic step forward as it was the very first collection of Jason Wu, the new creative director of Boss womenswear.
I got the chance to be dressed up in a total Hugo Boss look which I was really happy about! Their pieces match perfectly to my sense of style : elegant, sophisticated, strong yet with that little minimalism and affection for details that I love. I mean… Those leather leggings are ages away from the ones you’d get at Zara (and you know how much I love Zara). The cut is just so perfect and flattering, I feel like it’s my new wardrobe key piece.
You will find tomorrow all the pictures from the show and the special look I wore to attend the event on the blog. But meanwhile, I hope you’ll enjoy discovering these exclusive backstage images where you can even get a little glance of Edie Campbell (I have suuuch a crush on this girl it’s crazy) getting ready to open the runway.
On a personal note, I still feel totally sick. The thing is that nauseas and stomach aches come and go just like that. So I might feel great for an hour but then cramps come back in force every 20 minutes… It’s so strange, but it turns out that many people around me caught the same virus. Because of that I had to stay in bed in the morning and miss some shows that I was really excited about… Now today, I woke up to a huge storm in NY, seriously never seen something like that. Almost felt like the snow would break my window! So you’ll excuse us if we shoot a lot of pictures inside as I’ll be dressed up like a layered cake to fight this weather, not really worth documenting! x
