Mango at the tuilleries

Pictures by James Chardon

PERKS OF PFW It’s been a couple of days now that we’ve been in Paris and it has honestly been super duper mega crazy for us as we encountered a lot of really exceptional (mis)adventures (hopefully there here just to make our trip more exciting)! So first of all when we arrived in Paris (after a 6 hours train ride, 6 suitcases + 1 gigantic bag which eventually broke so I had to carry it)(not to mention that we went to the wrong train station in Milan and that the departure to Paris was not at Milano Centrale, we had 30 minutes to go to the other one with all our stuff in the hands and no money in the pockets, so we even managed to squeez in a little getaway at the bank!) our hotel wasn’t accessible by car so we again had to carry everything to the lobby. When we arrived in was already 1am as the driver had such huge difficulties finding the place. In the end the hotel was cute but super tiny and we had to take the elevator several times as it was absolutely impossible to fit all our luggages in. Once we got that done, I had to work and edit an article for the next day plus both James and I were craving food : as you can imagine everything was already closed (almost). So all I can say, is that this trip to Paris started in the most dramatic way possible.

But as always, things get better and we’ve enjoyed an ah-mayy-zing experience in Paris so far. Having meetings, events and shootings, which is still really busy but still okay compared to Milan where our schedule was just insanity. This season, the shows in Paris are definitely going to be something, I mean hello : Chanel, Kenzo, Vuitton,  Hermès, Elie Saab!? And every detail counts, from the lips to the eyeliner. These are really some of my favourite brands so I absolutely can’t wait! As Mango’s official fashion week insider we wanted to introduce you guys to this very last Mango look that we shot at the Jardin des Tuilleries, such an emblematic fashion spot. This outfit is something quite different, but as you guys might have understood, I really love having fun and playing with the pieces and seing what works best for me. Our project with Mango is coming to an end, we had sooo much fun working with them as their designs are young, fresh and super trendy.! Feel free to stay updated on the event page regarding the contest which will go live after PFW, you guys will be able to win a trip to one of your favourite fashion destinations  thanks toFashiolista and Mango!
