Second day at milan fashion week

Pictures by James Chardon

MY FAVOURITE WHITEAs you guys may have understood from our social media chanels : we’ve been keeping up reaally busy in Milan with meetings, showroom fittings, events, parties, presentations and above all attendance at some of the top shows of the season. I always feel when assising to these shows that it is like taking part in a historical moment where you see a new social and creative minifestation : what will people wear or be inspired by in the following months? It’s incredible to see all these new concepts, colour palettes and silhouettes each season and what I appreciate the most now, is having aquired some experience by attending fashion weeks for several seasons now and being able to have some comparison references regarding the previous collections, and try to compare them from one season to another. What has changed? Is it a dramatical change of direction or did the designer stick to his iconic statements? So so interesting.

Our second day in Milan was and will be probably our busiest one (still a couple of days to go so we’ll see how it goes). The schedule is quite hectic : we didn’t have time to eat the whole day, slept barely 4hours and I had to walk in these Jimmy Choo beauties during the morning/afternoon (comfy the first 3 hours and then d-e-a-d-l-y torturing). But gotta keep in my mind that it’s only 2 a year and that the experience is just beyong incredible so the smiles on our faces stick for the whole day without a problem. We got the chance to attend some really interesting shows, I was especially interested by Just Cavalli and Costume National one that day. They were both fantastic, with very different aesthetics in fact which at the end were in perfect contrast. Just Cavalli was all about bold prints and sexy, fun, young, fresh inspo while Costume National explored the minimalistc trajectory yet playing with some bright colour statements such as some neon pop! And the cherry on the top, we met the lovely Blake Lively at the end of the afternoon as we had a meeting with her and the Procter & Gamble team to discuss the new Gucci perfume, her being the ambassador for it! She is such a lovely person and it was so nice to have a seat and nice chat with her. Stay updated for more news guys!
