Third day at milan fashion week

Pictures by James Chardon

JUMPSUITOCRAZY Milano! I love you! Fashion week has been going super well so far and the new collections have never been as beautiful. Honestly, there is something magical about Italian fashion, it is as always super luxurious with the best materials and details (feathers, leather, broderies, sequins, pearls you name it!). And don’t get me started on the colours! It’s all about them!! In New York I noticed a lot of whites, blacks, sporty minimalistic silhouettes. Well here in Milan it is all about the iconic modern woman, super feminin, confident and sensual. And I am not even talking about the whole ambiance and the set up of the shows which is usually so fabulous with amazing concepts and mesmerizing music arrangements. It is like assisting to something so out of this world, it completely transports me into a story and my brain just goes off for 1 minute (so honestly if you ever end up next to me at a show, it’s absolutely useless to try to talk to me as I’ll be kind of bugging).

We are attenting many exciting shows this season yet the thing is, I would love to show you more of the collections with super detailes pictures and so on… But I think first of all you can already find all the content on www.style.com so it would just be double information and second of all I am usually going to the shows by myself and without camera so the material I have is made with my phone (which is why you have to follow my Instagram! Yipee). That day, James and I had a crazy schedule with lots of appointments but the highlight was of course the Roberto Cavalli show. We started with a showroom meeting at Versace to see in real life the new pieces from their SS14 collection. It’s all about a strong, powerfull yet edgy girl totally assuming yer feminin and girly side with pastel colours mixed up with rock n’roll details. Donatella has brought something super new to the brand this season as the skirts are wider, allowing mig movements compared to the usual tiny-winy skirts. Then little stop at the Jimmy Choo presentation to see their ne wild collection. The location was beyond amazing and I fell in love with almost everything… And now the Cavalli show. In all honesty, I teared up a little (okay maybe just inside). But the whole experience, the music, the lights and this STUNNING collection made me speechless. It’s a mix of bohemian, old school, even some gothico/punkish inspiration somewhere in the middle all topped of with super luxury and typical cavalli glamour. I wore for this busy day this incredible Guess by Marciano jumpsuit which I am so in love with as well as this insane ”Hera” Cavalli bag. What do you guys think about the whole look?
