Milan fashion week day i

So here we are! We landed in Geneva after a long and super tiring but fun trip from New York, had less than 24 jours to pack our suitcases and off to Milan for the beginning of fashion week! As you may know, I’ve always loved Milan fashion week. For some reason, it’s always been one of my favorite ones even though I have to say Paris is truly something as well. Paris is paris. Milan has got this little spice (and best cappuccinos ever which is enough to convince me) that I just absolutely can’t get enough of.

There’s just this incredible italian atmosphere that I really adore and well… I do have some italian blood running in my veins… Yes yes, you’ve heard! My grand grand father was italian, actual reason why my family name is Bazan (though some of you guys wrote to me that this name has spanish roots, which is quite curious!).

I have to say that I was hoping for at least a little sun on our arrival, but nope : heavy rain all the day long. Luckily, the temperature wasn’t as harsh as it was in New York, in fact we got a super cool, nice end of the afternoon and I managed to look somehow presentable right after checking-in at the hotel. Also I can’t be more grateful to Cotril Spa, a great italian hair salon, for doing my hair during this Milan FW, seriously that’s just so awesome. I so feel like a spoiled little brat.

Okay so I was dying to wear this incredible Wanda Nylon skirt again, it’s definitely one of my favorite pieces ever. Also decided to pull out this incredible Dolce & Gabbana tweed / faux fur sleeve jacket that I received as a gift from my mom several years ago. It kept me super warm all day, and doesn’t it look super gorgeous? Just to bring a little structure, a belt was definitely necessary. A belt always accentuates the waist when cuts aren’t as flattering.

The shows on the list were Gucci and Fay which I both enjoyed a lot! Then we ended up our day with some beloved friends at the Trussardi restaurant, it was the best night ever! Nothing is worth catching up with amazing people, these are really the moments that I cherish the most. Don’t miss out on fashion week updated loves, make sure to follow the social media feed and the #kaytureonthego hashtag to see all the activity! Bisous
