Having been able to enjoy a couple of free days in New York has been an absolute paradise. Since I’ve been sick I felt like my body has been craving some time off. The thing is that with all our projects, trips and activities we can only manage to squeeze in one or two free days each time and never a real week or two of holidays. And lately I have to admit, it’s been my dream and my body is clearly asking for it. However, let’s say, it’s not really the perfect time to think about as fashion week is right here and right now and so many things are happening!

Since I had my stomach aches, I had to miss so many great shows… I was super sad about this, but luckily I had enough energy to attend the Hugo Boss show. I came to NY especially for this event and I couldn’t have been more excited and happy to discover Jason Wu’s first collection for the brand. And I definitely wasn’t disappointed : it was perfectly structured, modern yet feminine at the same time, elegant yet somehow formal in the most elegant way possible. I loved the different material contrasts as well as the general outlook of the pieces that embodied perfectly the new Hugo Boss woman and represented perfectly the new direction of the brand.

We are leaving from New York tonight and will be in Milan this week for the fashion week, I can’t be more excited! Milan is always one of my favorites fashion cities. Also we got a very special surprise trip planned for the end of the month, any guess?
