Blue lace & gold in jodhpur

Hope you all enjoyed a relaxing weekend. We just came back from our two week holiday. Our plane landed this friday from Santorini! We’re back to work with a lot to catch up on. Having our own business, leaving for two weeks comes with some pressure on the shoulders as we need to be able to come back and get the amount of two weeks of work done in just a couple of days. But oh boy we’re ready for it! Our brains have never felt fresher ;)

It’s been ages since we last took real time off with friends and without daily wi-fi. I would say something like 3 years… These two weeks were no e-mails or correspondance allowed (I was still glued to my Instagram though, just because I am genuinely addicted). A perfect occasion to wind down!

It was also an occasion to post a little less on Kayture and let some fresh thoughts fly into my mind. I am back with so many stories to tell you and great projects to announce! Soon the fashion month will kick off and we’ll have so many great adventures to enjoy together. Meanwhile I am excited to share these new wonderful images we’ve created during our stay in India with our dear LoveGold team.

After spending some time in Delhi, we were headed to Jodhpur, also called the blue or the walled city of India. We stayed at an absolutely mesmerizing hotel called Raas, where we felt like lost in an oasis of freshness and peace in the middle of a busy city. After a long journey, we arrived a the hotel and were welcomed with beautiful flowers and I had my first official “red dot” gently placed on my forehead by the overwhelmingly warm crew of the hotel. Can’t even relate how excited I was at this point.

Once we settled in, it was time to get ready for the evening festivities and the upcoming wedding. I couldn’t wait to wear this beautiful Sheinside (absolutely love shopping on this website, they always have such nice pieces in accordance to the latest trends) dress as I packed it with me knowing that the colors would suit perfectly the lively and bright ambiance of India. The lace and this electric blue seemed to melt down perfectly with the zen ambiance of our hotel’s outdoor garden.

Of course to elevate the whole look, I wore a mix of breathtaking gold jewels, thanks to Love Gold! It’s always so much fun to work with them as I get to discover so many new talented jewelers. I absolutely fell in love with the work of Janis Savitt and Pamela Love especially, their delicate yet elegant pieces were a perfect fit for this evening look in the colorful Indian background.
