Pfw look i

Our Paris fashion week officially kicked off with the Dior show. It was my first season attending the venue and I can only say how much I enjoyed it and felt honored to be there. What’s so exciting about PFW is the prestige of the shows and brands showing their newest collection. Most of the houses have such a deep, fascinating heritage, their creations being real works of art and influencing the whole fashion market. What we see now on the runway will have an impact on all the product stocks in all shops around the world in the best couple of years. Not to mention stores like Zara or H&M which means what most of us will be wearing…! Having the chance to attend such events feels like being part of something massive, a historical moment to remember.

You need  to see the new Dior SS15 collection on Style.com, you’ll be surprised to notice pieces resembling to an elevated, pret-à-porter version of a luxurious pyjama gown worn in the most graphic and edgy way possible. The print, the colors, everything approaches purity, comfort twisted with a sporty feel and minimalism. All whites dominate a certain part of the collection, which I am absolutely okay with!!! A total white look is always a big win for me.

I am happy that Raf Simons continues exploring with the shapes of the skirts as Dior has always been about big, voluptuous skirts and dresses for me. He managed to take the heritage of the brand and re-invent the timeless pieces into new modern icons quite perfectly. Not to mention that I highly enjoyed the venue and whole setting of the show, which was very modern and even quite futuristic. The music was the perfect punctuation to the whole ambiance.

For the show, I decided to play on contrast : a pastel ensemble yet strong, statement structures such as this massive Chloé coat and print overall from MM6 by Maison Martin Margiela. Of course, I had to add some Dior to all of this so I mixed it with their brand new sunnies with it’s rose reflective glass and the pearl Mise En Dior which has been lately for me the perfect fashion accessory. It felt like the jumpsuit had a little Japanese twist to it with it’s strange, comic book looking shapes, so this Ying Yang clutch from Charlotte Olympia was the perfect match! I found it on Net A Porter and simply can’t get over it. Finally and to add the last touch, I mixed some Chopard jewels, this watch from their Impérial collection, some Happy Diamonds bracelets and ice cube rings in gold and rose gold which are quite perfect for an occasion like a fashion show. Hope you guys will enjoy!
