Zadig and me

Off we go with the first article of our coverage of Paris fashion week! I still have so many great images to show you from our fashion month journey, from New York, London and Milan, we captured so many great moments in each city that I am truly looking forward to be able to share with you. Meanwhile, here we go with the first post of PFW! We arrived in the city a couple of days ago right after Milan. Since all the flights during fashion month were booked, we had to take the train (an 8 hour ride) with our 8 suit cases. It was a real challenge which luckily we went through! After that, we’re ready for almost anything!

The city is just so beautiful. No matter where you look or turn yourself to, it’s infused with history and elegance. Also, we have a special feeling on our hearts as it’s the last days of fashion month, Paris being the last city. It’s also the longest fashion week with something like 10 days to go through all the shows instead of 7 or five like the other ones. This is only due to the fact that it might be the biggest, most prestigious one with some of the best designers in the world showing their newest collection. It is a real honor to be a part of it and to be able to live, see and experience such magical and powerful moment of fashion history which shape our market and taste.

On our first days, I had the chance to lead a collaboration with an iconic parisian brand which I am sure you all know and love. Zadig & Voltaire have always represented for me the perfect, parisian, effortless, laid back chic style with the subtle rock and roll twist. Their exquisite cashmere and leather simply make each piece desirable. On one hand, you want to snuggle in their coats and sweaters while on the other go out and dance all night in their skinny leather trousers. This year, instead of doing a classic fashion show, they hosted a very cool presentation of their new SS15 collection in the heart of Paris. It was a beautiful experience where we had the chance to discover the pieces we’ll all be raving about next spring/summer.

I loved meeting the head designer of the brand, Cecilia Bonstrom, such a gorgeous woman, who re-invented the Zadig & Voltaire girl with a new colorful, retro 70ies twist while keeping the boyish, laid back look so proper to the brand. To attend the event I wore a total Z&V look which I was really excited about as it was super cozy and warm, perfect before officially kicking off my crazy fashion week looks which mainly consist of very high heels and long dresses. I wore one of the fluffiest and most amazing sweaters ever with some black leather details and this big fuzzy coat that you just wanna wrap yourself with.

To add a touch of elegance and chic, I added these super cool Noor Fares gold jewels. Her designs are so graphic and interesting that I felt like it would look perfect with this sophisticated outfit. The gold stands out in contrast to the neutral palette of the look, I really love the little touch of originality it brings. Thanks to LoveGold for introducing me to her work, really in love with it.
