Parisian feel

Paris fashion week always feels like the last run of a marathon. But in the end, it might be the most rewarding experience ever. I am happy to be writing this article on the couch of my hotel room and saying that fashion month is officially over!!!! In exactly two hours I’ll be taking the train back to Geneva, will repack some items and leave for a month to Los Angeles, our “new” second base home. I have to admit, am a little tired after this firework of a month. But in the most positive way possible, just because I know I gave all of me. When I look back at all the things we did, I can’t be anything but proud, so happy and motivated for all that’s to come.

As promised, I still have so much to share with you all from this crazy adventure. I might have enough articles to go on for weeks and weeks and weeks! Which is good as I plan to spend my time in L.A without any make-up, or only the bare minimum, flats everyday and the comfiest jeans and sweaters ever. And you can’t even imagine how genuinely excited I am about that!

So here we go with this look that I wore on a more casual and relaxed day during our Paris fashion week. This season, Milan fashion week got shortened to add a few more days to PFW. So our MFW schedule was completely packed and we had days where we could barely find time to eat or sleep. Luckily, because of the length of PFW (almost 10 days!) we had the chance to enjoy less hectic days than the others. I am not saying that we could actually take it easy and brunch on a Sunday, no. But we could easily see one hour or two free up in the middle of the day for us to enjoy a quiet stroll.

As we had a collaboration with LoveGold this season, we had the chance to explore and discover new jewelry houses and designers who create beautiful pieces using gold. This is how I ended up on Place Vendôme wearing these gorgeous pieces from respectively Almasika, with their dreamy shell necklaces and Shaun Leane, whose pieces are creature-inspired, including a bracelet with serpent vertebrae details. My highlight piece was probably this beautiful K necklace, so unique and personal, I loved wearing it over this laid back, yet elegant outfit while out and about in one of the most gorgeous cities in the world.
