Marni flower market

As I promised, we still have many looks to share with you from this fashion season. So get ready folks! Many new outfits will arrive on Kayture in the next couple of days. I promise to post religiously as I skipped a couple of days last week to concentrate on music. But after re-organizing ourselves and crying a bit (the result of jet lag + too much caffein), we finally figured out a rhythm that works. It just takes some time to get used to multi-tasking at such fast level and with something that needs so much care, love and attention.

We also just moved from West Hollywood into our new house in Venice which I am truly in Love with! I can’t wait to share with you some images of what it looks like. All I can say is that it’s absolutely adorable, a little cozy temple of creativity, all white and very modern. We just installed our studio in it to be able to record and work 24/7. So far we’ve been spending our days there, creating, brainstorming, recording and shooting. It’s such a fabulous and exciting time in our lives…

I am thrilled to share with you today another one of my favorite looks from this fashion season. A total Marni outfit that I wore to attend their show during Milan fashion week. After showing their collection, the brand hosted a gigantic flower market in the heart of the city for all the lovers of fashion and nature combined. It was like a big bubble of freshness in the middle of a crazy week. So nice to be surrounded by so much life in the middle of a period where smart phones, computers and cabs rule the day. It was the perfect fit for Marni as their creations are so tightly inspired by nature, from the prints to the actual colors.

It was an honor to wear this gorgeous dressto attend the show. I felt like a modern goddess in it and could’t stop admiring all of it’s exquisite feathery embellishments. A dream. The structure is also so unusual yet interesting. To lengthen the silhouette I picked some Marni platform heelsand as a final detail punctuating this look : a big, chunky Valentino headband that I found on Monnier Frères and that I adore. I’ve been big into headbands lately. As for thebag, I of course carried this beautiful black one which matched perfectly the look and added a like graphic twist. But nothing was as fun as picking up and carrying some fresh flowers around! Thanks to Marni for the fabulous experience.
