Notte

A few days ago, I had the pleasure to travel to Milan with the Revolve team for a short getaway filled with beautiful visits of the city, lots of pasta eating, wine drinking (probably too much in fact) and endless night time conversations… What more can you ask of a stay in Italy. It felt quite good actually to escape Paris for a bit, although I can never really get enough of it. But it was indeed a great occasion to get some fresh ideas in, and fill my heart with some Italian Dolce Vita, a lifestyle we can all learn a few things from. It feels like Italians are animated by the eternal search for pleasure and beauty, whether it’s found in art, food or love… They seek for beauty in all things and once they put their hands on it, they celebrate it. Of course it comes with it’s various facets and many people mock the Italian “farniente” culture which consists of enjoying a bit too much instead working. But, can we actually blame them for it? As a visitor in Milan, a city I used to visit very often in the past, each trip is an occasion to seek for new places and new inspiration. In this new editorial shot at the hotel Principe Di Savoia, known for it’s traditional interior design, with lots of gold ornaments and marble stairways, you’ll be able to discover a few looks I selected from Revolve’s current collections. I loved this ivory silk ensemble from Lovers & Friends which is quite perfect for a night out, you can even miss match the top and bottom and wear them with other pieces to create more contrast. The other look consists of a little black dress from NBD paired with some black knee high vynil boots from Raye and a leopard print coat from the House of Harlow x Revolve collection. Hope you guys will enjoy this set of images. x K
