Right after our project in Shanghai with Montblanc, we flew in back to New York to settle down and get used to the new time zone. It was the perfect occasion to get organized n advanced and have a smoother beginning of the fashion month. I can’t believe we’ve never done that before actually as we usually always arrived the day of the shows and it was so crazy as we have to do everything last minute. This time, we had our hands down on all the little details and were able to get fully organized before the arrival of Fiona.

I have to say, doing New York, Shanghai and back again in New York was somewhat of a challenge. First of all because I honestly couldn’t understand on which time zone I was living anymore : Geneva? New York? Shanghai. My head was a big bowl of mess and I could have fallen asleep just standing there during the day while being completely awake and ready for it during the night. Jet Lag, why, whyyy do you even exist!?

Before fashion officially kicked off we spend a couple of days doing meetings, fittings, visiting showrooms and shooting in NYC. Since I knew I was about to wear heels for about a month in advance, I wanted to take advantage of these couple of “cool” days to wear something more casual, relaxed and above all comfortable. I honestly just woke up that morning and threw on this amazing dress by Finders Keeps (obsessed with this Australian label) paired with some of my favorite accessories of the season such as this Stella McCartney bag from Monnier Frères and Chanel espadrilles. Perfect combo for an easy day out.

Last but not least, I am excited to announce that we have a beautiful collaboration planned with our favorite LoveGold team for this upcoming fashion month!! You’ll see me rock a lot of golden statement pieces and I hope that we’ll introduce you to the incredible work of many new jewelers such as show you some iconic classics in the vibrant context of the fashion week. In this article, I am wearing some stunning pieces by Jemma Wynne and Susan Foster. Both of their creations are a great mix of delicate and bold. Simple and discrete as it is, yet with stunning details and finitions.
