Armani frangance presentation

Pictures by JAMES VYN

NACREThis is going to be a long post, but it means I have got a lot to show you, which is I think is quite a good thing isn’t it? A couple of days ago, James and I were invited in Zürich to discover the new Armani Privé frangance ”Nacre”. I have always loved the Armani scents and of course I was thrilled to discover en avant-première the new mysterious juice. We arrived at the Renaissance hotel and were welcomed by the lovely Margharita who introduced us a bit to the perfume and brought us to the Armani suite where an Armani frangance expert was about to give us a little frangance lesson. The Armani Privé line was born in 2004, made of a line of exclusif perfumes. The key is the the ingredients, the notes are more subtle and the frangances are made of pure essentials, no more than 6 luxurious notes, less is more. For the second time, Armani Privé is launching a new haute couture perfume which is a special edition, meaning that there will be only 1000 bottles. Inspired by the last Armani fashion show, the frangance plays around the elegance and beauty of the mother-of-pearl. Inspired by the light and the ocean, Giorgio Armani created a frangance which suggest the evasion. When I first smelled the perfume, I instantly saw a woman, a modern mermaid with her long lace dress covered in pearls, I saw the sea and felt the breeze. The main notes are the Iris and Musc, which makes it a very light and feminin frangance. What also amazed me, is the fact that the bottle is entirely hand-made, this adds a very authentic and unique aspect to the creation. The perfume will be released during the month of June, I was so happy to get a little sample of it and will keep it religiously in my make-up box.

The weather in Zürich was phenomenal, I had to wear an outfit that screams spring. I just got these amazing pants from Minusey, and I am entirely and endlessly in love. The print is perfect and the shape is so comfortable. I paired them to my new shows from Zara, which I think are my must have for this spring ( I can already sense that I’ll wear them all the time). A white t-shirt, plus white blazer matched to a royal blue Vince Camutto clutch and a Minusey necklace. After the Armani presentation, James and I went to Hiltl, an incredible vegeterian food buffet where we had a little healthy meal. Too much healthy isn’t good for health, so I decided to grow a bit of tummy with some Sprüngli macarons, and don’t regret it. Yum yum.
