Safilo social eyes
During our last trip in Paris, and more precisely while we were in town for fashion week, I had the pleasure to take part once again in a great project I’ve been doing now for several seasons with one of the biggest luxury eyewear manufacturers behind some of my favorite brands such as Dior, Fendi, Jimmy Choo or Hugo Boss. Yup, that’s right, I am talking about Safilo Social Eyes! Twice a year during fashion week, they select some influencers to become part of a digital campaign featuring some of the newest eye wear out on the market.
It’s such a fun day and perfect little break in the middle of the fashion week maze where you get to spend some time at their beautiful showroom amongst so many beautiful pieces that are all to die for. The previous years, the shooting used to take place in Milan. This year for the first time, we had the pleasure to shoot in Paris and with a new photographer, the talented Adeline Mai. She managed to create such a beautiful, cutting edge image. A bold flash to set the tone, a white background, minimalism and effortless at it’s best. The vibe of the shoot totally reminded me of some campaigns shots I’ve seen by Céline or Marc Jacobs.
Sunnies are always such a great accessory to add to a look. I feel like it always gives this little special touch to it. For me however, it has always been pretty hard to find the right shape as I have quite a particular face shape. But browsing through Safilo’s massive selection, I always manage to find the right piece. This time I styled some super modern, sleek and beautiful Hugo Boss sunnies. They’re perfectly timeless, reminding me of an eternal Audrey Hepbrun look. Enjoy and have some watermelon!
